Mas de Daumas Gassac is one of the great names in the French wine firmament, having built its extraordinarily strong reputation for consistently fine quality wines in a remarkably short time.

Dubbed ‘the Lafite of the Languedoc’ by the influential Gault & Milau guide, the estate owes its existence to the vision of its founders, the late Aimé Guibert and his wife Véronique, who moved to the remote Gassac valley in the late 1960s. Today the estate is run by four of the Guibert sons, who continue to push the quality boundaries.
The 2025 red is without doubt a classic in the making. Wonderfully harmonious, it is a vibrant blend of mainly cabernet sauvignon, with a small amounts of tannat, malbec, merlot and nebbiolo. The wine is still in barrel but will be bottled in early 2027 in 75cl and 150cl formats.
We are also offering the recently harvested 2026 Mas de Daumas Gassac Blanc en primeur. An unoaked blend made up largely of four varieties – viognier, chardonnay, petit manseng and chenin blanc – the wine has the freshness and concentration, and has the capacity to age almost as long as the red.
