New Southern French Wines Case
Wines included
The Society's Southern French White 2025
A refreshing sauvignon-dominated white with both charm and ease of drinking. It is perfect as an aperitif or with white fish, shellfish and goat's cheese salad. We have tweaked the name of this wine as we felt that 'French Dry White' simply didn't do the wine justice.
Le Bosc Pinot Noir Rosé, Pays d'Oc 2025
A wonderfully fresh pink made from pinot noir grown close to the seaside town of Agde on volcanic soils. This reveals appealing notes of redcurrants, and makes the perfect aperitif come rain or, hopefully, shine and it goes surprisingly well with spicy food. Try it with spicily marinated chicken, pork or chops. We’re delighted to offer this wine with a £1 exploration discount per bottle until Friday 22nd May 2026.
Maison Louis Germain Sauvignon, Vin de France 2025
A great-value, crisp sauvignon from southern France, delivering classic gooseberry and cassis-leaf character. Pair with summer salads, seafood or fish and chips.
Terra Santa Blanc, IGP Ile de Beauté 2025
This wonderfully crisp dry white from the east coast of Corsica is highly drinkable. Made from 100% vermentinu, a variety that thrives in the coastal Mediterranean climate, it makes a perfect warm weather aperitif, but also matches a wide array of dishes including white fish, seafood and salads.
Domaine Tariquet Saint-Amand Blanc, Côtes de Gascogne 2025
A new wine to the range this year, Saint-Amand is owned by the Grassa family with whom The Society has worked for decades. It is a well-balanced, friendly white made from chardonnay, gros manseng and sauvignon. Versatile enough to go with multiple dishes, including those with moderate spiciness and Asian cuisines, but can also be enjoyed on its own. Gascony is a great place to buy wines from. Size and economies of scale help maintain low prices, while a climate that is warm, sunny but with no lack of water, ensuring consistent quality.
Terra Santa Rosé, IGP Ile de Beauté 2025
This wonderfully expressive Corsican rosé from the east coast is made from three of the island's most widely-planted grape varieties – sciaccarellu, niellucciu and grenache. It delivers lovely soft red-fruit character at a sensible price. The perfect summer rosé for any occasion.
