On Point Australian Chenin Blanc 2024 Bag-in-Box (3 litre)
A grape most famously from Loire or South Africa, chenin blanc can be a great option at the entry-level right through to fine wine. This Australian example not only demonstrates the diversity of Australian wine and the adaptability of the grape, but also offers great value. This is fresh, crisp and inviting; the nose has pretty notes of juniper, soft pears and a touch of fleshy peach. The palate is refreshing, with more delicate white fruits and peach being joined by a little bit of lime and a floral note on the finish. The 3-litre bag-in-box is the perfect option for keeping in the fridge and enjoying over a few weeks. This isn't trying to be anything other than a great-value, very pleasing white wine at a very good price. We think it does a super job at that. Fair play!
