Join two stalwarts of The Society’s Tastings & Events team, Emma Briffett and Ewan Murray, as they talk through their dos and don’ts when it comes to wine with food from the outdoor grill. What works well, what doesn’t? Is it all blockbuster reds or is there room for finesse?
You may want to have prepared some of your own food to accompany the session, and try some pairings yourself during the conversation. There will also be time for your questions.
Emma and Ewan have chosen a small range of wines for members to taste-along with this event. While not compulsory to buy the wines, you can join in and learn or buy one, two or even all of the wines which are detailed below.

We’re proud of a diverse online food and wine programme at The Wine Society. Formats range from cheese and wine evenings, takeaway nights and restaurant ‘dine at home’ kits. We will explain where to purchase the food in advance; either from trusted partners or your own local suppliers, and we will suggest the wines to buy in advance to accompany the evening.
