Pauillac, Ulysse 2022
Red Wine from France - Bordeaux
A classically styled Pauillac from an impeccable source, whose name we are duty-bound not to reveal. This is a traditional blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot showing an already expressive nose of cassis, graphite and tar with a palate that’s mid-weight but with precision and power. The tannins are fine and coating providing great structure with a core of bright blackcurrant and plum fruit. Slightly insular currently we’d suggest cellaring for another five years before broaching. If opening prior to this we’d recommend decanting for an hour prior.
