Pinot Noir, Danbury Ridge Essex 2021
Danbury Ridge's pinots bridge the gap between English freshness and southern Hemisphere opulence. Taken from a German pinot noir clone that gives great density of colour, impressive aromatics and peppery spice this has an elegant palate with blackcurrant core providing good weight. The tannins are finely woven and beautifully managed by winemaker Liam Idzikowski with light oaking providing extra depth. Low stock: Limited to six bottles per member.
