Quinta da Pedra Alta 'Pedra a Pedra' Branco, Douro 2023

White Wine from Portugal - Douro Valley
3.666666700 star rating 3 Reviews
This is a blend of local grapes rabigato and gouveio and demonstrates the very pleasantly surprising freshness which can be found in great Douro whites. A fresh, focused white with citrus and fresh herbs on the nose, the palate has a mineral quality and delicious notes of lime zest, apricots and a hint of thyme. Quinta da Pedra Alta is a historic property in the Douro Valley which has been given a new lease of life with thanks to new ownership and a supremely talented chief winemaker.

A fresh , sharp and enticing Portuguese white to delight, blended from local rabigato and gouveio grapes with flavours and aromas of citrus to the fore, notes of apricots and a mineral finish. Delightful.
