Rien ne Bouge, Vignoble du Rêveur 2023

5.000000000 star rating 7 Reviews
Mathieu Deiss and Emmanuelle Milan are pushing the boundaries with this gewurztraminer and pinot noir blend. Pinot noir grapes are macerated in the juice of gewurztraminer for 15 days. Pale red in colour this is a truly intriguing wine that has the aromatics of a pinot noir with raspberries and violets with a phenolic grip, pink grapefruit and only the tiniest of rose notes on the palate that would uncover its gewurztraminer origins. So fresh and would recommend chilling slightly before serving. Drink this year to 2030. 13.5%

The Observer

A gloriously silky, utterly unusual pink combination of the rose-fragrant gewürztraminer white variety with red pinot noir.

Very trendy! Pale garnet. Looks not unlike a Pinot Noir – appropriately enough! Smells like Pinot with some extra perfume. Exotic. Definitely works – but serve cool. Slightly hard end. But...
