This mid-slope vineyard parcel is of exceptional quality, planted on complex ancient blue-grey marl limestone soil. Pierre Gassmann is a master of sweeter styles and this wine is a delight to drink. Pierre releases his wines when they are ready to drink and has over 2 million wines in his cellar waiting for their optimum drinking before release. Expect fresh and dried mango combined with ginger and hints of honey. It's a must with full-fat creamy (and particularly washed-rind) cheeses.
