Bright and juicy Loire cabernet franc in this ripe vintage, with just a touch of spice; ideal served just a little cooler in the summer months.
Château de Lacarelle, Beaujolais-Villages 2020
This beautiful château can trace its history back to 1750. Fleshy, ripe and fresh, this is a lovely example of the open, inviting Beaujolais style, full of uncomplicated charm. Perfect for summer enjoyment with charcuterie or cheese.
Kompsos Liatiko, Karavitakis 2020
'Kompsos' means 'elegant' in Greek, which is paricularly fitting for this liatiko, Crete's finest red grape. Pale in colour but full of personality with aromas of cherry, redcurrant, herbs and oriental spices, and a full, rich palate with ripe yet persistent tannin. Think pinot on steroids! Best served lightly chilled. A Decanter World Wine Awards bronze medal winner in 2021.
Three Bunches Australian Shiraz 2019
Seasonal eating doesn't preclude a ray or two of sunshine. The black-cherry and mocha flavours of this fruity and full-bodied shiraz, generous on both nose and palate, will tame those good-for-you greens.
Viña Zorzal Garnacha, Navarra 2019
A fresh and delicious Spanish garnacha with bags of charm, red-berry fruit, plump texture and modest weight. A gem with grilled meats or paprika-spiked paella.
