Red Wine from Morocco - Morroco
The late Alain Graillot was cycling in Morocco when he came across Domaine des Ouleb and soon a partnership to produce a syrah together was realised. Grapes come from the Benslimane region, north-east of Casablanca. An expression of syrah that has subtle nods to the northern Rhône, yet is much more Mediterranean in profile than its continental home. Black pepper is evident, but juicy red plum and liquorice come to the fore. Tannins are well managed and ripe.
