White Wine from France - Burgundy
Recently sourced from an exclusive cellar of impeccable provenance. The nose is notably evolved, with nutty characteristics alongside rich notes of sultana and raisin. Fully mature and very much in its tertiary phase, yet there is still sufficient acidity to provide freshness. Re-tasted after an hour or so, it showed rather better than first impressions suggested, opening up and gaining greater harmony. The length is actually quite impressive, with the flavours carrying nicely through the finish. Fully mature and best appreciated with that in mind.
