It has been a number of years since we have offered Dom Pérignon on First Release, so I’m particularly pleased to welcome it back with the 2018 vintage.

This is also the first Dom Pérignon vintage released under cellarmaster Vincent Chaperon. The warm 2018 vintage produced beautifully ripe fruit in Champagne, and the best wines have combined that generosity with considerably more freshness and precision than you might expect from such a sunny year.
Dom Pérignon’s blend of 54% chardonnay and 46% pinot noir captures this particularly well. There is plenty of ripe stone and orchard fruit, with a broad, creamy texture, lovely freshness and a fine savoury edge to the finish.
