This fun and delicious red blend in a litre bottle - from one of Piedmont's most exciting winemakers, Gian Luca Colombo - screams summer drinking. Creatively combining nebbiolo (35%), dolcetto (30%), barbera (15%), pinot nero (15%) and pelaverga (5%), from Gian Luca's estate vineyards in the Langhe, this is pale ruby in appearance, fragrant, crunchy, and bright - and perfect lightly chilled. With juicy redcurrant and cranberry fruit, a wonderful white-peppery spice, and a touch of raspberry leaf, this is super refreshing and energetic. Not without structure, there is a light grip from powdery tannins on the finish, a nudge to the nebbiolo component.
