Chilean chardonnay with a vibrant green-apple and melon palate, fermented in oak to enrich the flavour, and with about 20% of the oak new to contribute a hint of vanilla.

The Society's Gavi is sourced from old vines of the cortese grape, grown in the gentle rolling hills of Piedmont, north-west Italy. Crowd-pleasing and characterful, this versatile unoaked wine has won many fans over the years. Aromatic and zesty on the nose with an appetisingly dry palate offering refreshing appley, lemony fruit, this makes a great 'house' white to enjoy with a wide variety of dishes. Hazelnuts are found throughout the Piedmont region that is home to Gavi, so much so that it is one of the the largest producing region for the nuts in Europe and hence their place on our label for the wine.

A full and generous but fresh blend of chardonnay and grenache blanc from South Australia. The nose shows notes of melon, juniper berries, grapefruit, heather and white pepper. The palate is crisp but with a fuller texture and herbaceous character. Notes of fresh mint, dill and fresh squeezed lemon compliments the continuing notes of melon and crunchy green apple. Our Fathers is a project set-up by highly respected winemaker Giles Cooke MW and all profits are donated to charity, with a focus on mental health charities in the UK and Australia. Following the enormous success of the 'There is a Light' red from Giles, he has produced this white especially for Society members.

An exclusive blend for The Wine Society melding crisp, citrus-led chenin blanc with rich, aromatic viognier all from the on-trend Piekenierskloof, a remote mountain range approximately two hours north of Cape Town.

La Segreta takes its name from the wood that surrounds Planeta's beautiful vineyards at Ulmo in western Sicily. It has a vibrant style with a creative and delicious blend built on 40% grecanico, 20% chardonnay and 20% grillo, with 20% viognier and sauvignon playing supporting roles, all combining to create a fresh, tangy peach and lemon-balm-scented white with real personality.

The 2024 vintage was cooler than recent years, bringing bright aromatics and crispness. The nose bursts with gooseberry, passionfruit, lime zest and a hint of freshly cut grass, while the palate is fresh and mouthwatering, full of tropical fruit and citrus, with a lively, clean finish. This is classic Marlborough sauvignon blanc at its best. It is pure, crisp and effortlessly drinkable. Perfect with grilled prawns, zesty salads, or goat’s cheese, or just nice and chilled in the sunshine.
