Fish curries are rarely heavily spiced as this would destroy the delicate flavour of the fish. Whites or rosés with a touch of sweetness or ripe fruit flavour work best. Gewurztraminer, as always is a good bet as are Mediterranean rosés, Loire demi-sec whites and German Spätlesen.
