PN TX20: a testament to elegance with depth

Bollinger PN TX20

On my recent return from maternity leave, I was delighted to taste the latest in the Bollinger PN series and discovered that PN TX20 really hits the spot! This edition is based on the 2020 vintage yet enriched by 52% reserve wines drawn from the outstanding 2019, 2012, and 2008 vintages. Coupled with Bollinger’s ever-evolving viticultural excellence, PN TX20 is a testament to elegance with depth. I am delighted to give you the chance to buy now ahead of delivery in the autumn.

Order by midday on Friday 4th July

Pinot noir is one of the key pillars of the Bollinger style and the house has built its reputation by showcasing this grape variety. The PN cuvée is the result of research into the different styles of pinot and its different origins in Champagne and represents a continuation of the house’s heritage and an affirmation of the legendary Bollinger style, while also being a wine that reinvents itself year after year. It has a classic Mirabelle-plum ‘Bollinger nose’, laden with redcurrant and sourdough aromas. Preserved lemons and almond develop on the elegant palate, persisting on the lifted finish.

PN TX20 marks the sixth release in this series and the second expression that highlights pinot noir from the Premier Cru village of Tauxières on the southwestern slopes of the Montagne de Reims. Given the sunny aspect, and the combination of chalk and clay, the pinot produced has finesse, aromatic complexity, and structural precision.
