Tempier has always been one of the leading estates of Provence, and was instrumental in the creation of the Bandol appellation, which insisted on the mourvèdre grape as its focus. However, it is not a large estate, and its rare wines are much in demand. The 2022 vintage was very dry indeed and produced wines with impressive depth of flavour, ripeness and balance, and we can’t recommend them highly enough. If you want to demonstrate that Provence can produce world-class wines, here’s the proof.
Order by midday on Thursday 5th June
