Her star continues to rise in what was deemed an extremely challenging vintage for most of Europe. Thanks to her rigorous approach, volumes are notably low, but they were further reduced in a vintage that endured various temperature fluctuations and heavy rainfall. Many winemakers can produce great wine when weather conditions are perfect, but it takes a true talent to produce breathtaking wines in the most challenging vintages.
Eva started her estate as a side hustle in 2006, with just 0.1 hectares. Holdings have gradually increased to 20 hectares, all farmed both biodynamically and organically. A pioneer, she saw the value in old vines and steep slopes and has been rewarded with some of the most sought after vineyards in the region. Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong sense of improving the biodiversity and soil quality in the vineyards has from the very beginning been her focus and she is reaping the rewards vintage after vintage with her exquisite wines.
