Bründlmayer Grüner Veltliner Ried Loiserberg 1öTW, Kamptal 2025

Code: AA6041 In Stock
White
A juicy yet precise grüner veltliner from Loiserberg, combining ripe fruit with herbal tension and a crystalline, mineral edge, making it an ideal introduction to Kamptal’s Erste Lage wines. From one of the highest and most north-westerly Erste Lage sites, this shows both freshness and generosity. The nose is vibrant, with green apple, pear, peach stone and lime alongside a subtle herbal lift. The palate is ripe yet focused, with a lovely mineral drive and bright acidity keeping everything in balance. A gentle creaminess and lightly toasty, nutty note add texture on the finish. Approachable and charming, this is simple in structure but beautifully clear and delicious. Drink from 2027 to 2034.
£90.00 Case of 6 (£20.00/litre)

Jurtschitsch Grüner Veltliner Ried Dechant 1öTW, Kamptal 2025

Code: AA5971 In Stock
White
Peach, lemon zest and a mineral-driven grüner veltliner, showcasing the elegance and freshness of the Dechant vineyard. Deceptively grown up. From south-east-facing slopes with water-retentive soils, this balanced freshness of site with concentration from old vines. The nose is bright and inviting, with ripe peach and lemon zest. The palate is crisp and lively, with vibrant citrus and a juicy core of yellow fruit, held in place by a clean mineral line. There is lovely balance here, combining approachability with a sense of structure, finishing fresh, precise and with length. A serious yet immediately enjoyable expression of the site. Drink from 2027 to 2034.
£105.00 Case of 6 (£23.33/litre)

Jurtschitsch Riesling Ried Heiligenstein 1öTW, Kamptal 2025

Code: AA5991 In Stock
White
A bafflingly good-value wine from one of the world's greatest riesling vineyards. Focused, powerful and ethereal, with citrus, peach and mineral depth. A blend from Jurtschitsch's vines across the large Heiligenstein vineyard, this is a fantastic taste of the overall style from this world-class site. The terraced hillside, facing south and south-west, at elevations of 210 to 350 meters, benefits from rich and diverse soils that impart a distinctive mineral quality to the wine. A site famed for more powerful and structural riesling, which strikes a beautiful balance thanks to the winery's finer and fresher house style. The nose shows bright citrus, with peach and orange-blossom character. The palate is driven, fresh taut and focused. A steal. Drink from 2027 to 2038.
£105.00 Case of 6 (£23.33/litre)

Geyerhof Riesling Ried Kirchensteig 1öTW, Kremstal 2025

Code: AA6061 In Stock
White
Kirchensteig is a monopole and is Austria’s smallest 1ÖTW vineyard. This is a bright, mineral riesling that seriously overdelivers at the price. Grown on a rugged, lesser-known site of harsh, stony soils of granulite and crystalline rock, Kirchensteig shows excellent focus and purity. The nose is lifted and precise, with citrus zest, orange pith and a hint of pineapple. The palate is crisp, saline and tightly structured, balancing ripe fruit with a strong mineral backbone. There is real tension here, with vibrant acidity carrying through to a long, clean finish. Approachable now but with the structure to age, this is a compelling and distinctive expression of the site. Drink from 2028 to 2039.
£107.00 Case of 6 (£23.78/litre)

Weingut Stadt Krems Riesling Ried Grillenparz 1öTW, Kremstal 2025

Code: AA6141 In Stock
White
From the steep terraces of Grillenparz just outside the village of Stein, the 2025 vintage brings a light touch of botrytis that adds gentle richness to this bright, tropical and expressive riesling. The nose is immediately vibrant, with kiwi, mango, peach and apricot bursting from the glass. The palate is juicy, pure and wonderfully aromatic, layered with tropical fruit, lychee and a hint of gooseberry on the finish. Beneath the freshness sits a softer, more mellow character, with notes of cooked apple, apple crumble and gentle spice adding depth. There is excellent balance here, combining brightness with a subtle roundness, making it both immediately delicious and pleasingly complex. Drink from 2027 to 2035.
£96.00 Case of 6 (£21.33/litre)
