Red Wine from Italy - Piedmont
From one of Barolo’s most revered single vineyards in Castiglione Falletto, this Monprivato reflects Sordo’s traditional approach of long maceration and ageing in large Slavonian oak, allowing site expression and nebbiolo purity to shine through. An expressive vintage, it opens with lifted aromas of rose, cherry, crushed fennel and dried red berries, alongside darker hints of tar, spice and truffle. The palate is finely structured yet supple, with layered red fruit, savoury depth and present tannins carrying through to a long, mineral finish.
