The 2008 vintage has enjoyed extended ageing on its yeast lees before disgorgement, followed by further maturation in bottle, resulting in a beautifully complex and harmonious Champagne. Aromas of brioche, toasted hazelnut, lemon curd and baked apple lead to a palate of remarkable freshness and finesse, with a fine, persistent mousse and a long, savoury finish. Now drinking superbly, this is an outstanding partner for shellfish, lobster or simply enjoyed on its own.
