Château Larose-Perganson, Haut-Médoc 2014

Red Wine from France - Bordeaux
3.960000000 star rating 25 Reviews
Elegant and savoury Haut-Médoc from a vineyard site dating back to 1719 and while the château no longer exists, having been destroyed during the war, the terroir and wine continue to live on thanks to its neighbour, Larose-Trintaudon, where the wine is made to this day. The 2014 vintage in Bordeaux is one that’s improved over time, having originally been overlooked, and is now showing its class. This is medium-bodied and savoury, showing distinctive dried cranberry, leather and blackberry notes with finely grained tannins that’ll pair brilliantly with fatty foods like lamb after an hour in a decanter.
