Medium-bodied and now fully mature Haut Médoc from vines predominantly within the Saint-Estèphe appellation. It impressed at a tasting thanks to its honest and timeless style and we've secured a large parcel at a great price. A blend of 63% merlot, 35% cabernet sauvignon, and 2% petit verdot, there are notes of tobacco, dried cranberries, cedar, and an estuarine character typical of its location. Ideal for lovers of modest, old-school claret.
