Cirò Rosso Gaglioppo, Santa Venere 2024
Brilliant fruity Calabrian red from gaglioppo grapes, grown organically in vineyards overlooking the sea on the toes of Italy. Well structured with grippy tannins, and bramble, blackberry and pepper notes, and a refreshing finish. Robust and full-bodied, this is a great foil for this southern Italian region's more famous export, the deliciously spicy soft salami called 'nduja.
