Seriously good, rich and complex Marsala, and one for the drinker rather than the cook. A great alternative to Madeira, sweet sherry or Port, this ten-year-old fortified wine has a salted, roasted-pecan flavour, with preserved lemons and praline developing on the extremely long finish. It`s delicious cellar-cool with piquant shards gouged from a wedge of old Parmesan or Pecorino cheese, followed by your best after-dinner chocs.
