White Wine from South Africa - Coastal Region
A blend of eight registered single vineyards, this chenin blanc really is David & Nadia’s calling card, capturing the canvas of the Swartland through its most famous grape. Intensely aromatic for a young chenin, with spring blossom and honeysuckle perfume, and a whisper of lanolin and wet wool. There is gorgeous richness and depth on the palate, paired with bracing, energetic acidity. More than a little Loire-esque, there is so much complexity and stony-salty minerality here, with a waxy note on the back palate and a piercingly persistent finish.
