Encosta da Vinha Branco, Dão 2025

0 star rating 0 Reviews
Encruzado is a very promising Portuguese white grape and brings lovely structure and freshness to this blend, along with malvasia fina and bical. Boas Quintas is a particularly good value producer in the Dão region of Portugal and its therefore little surprise that this white punches well above its weight. The nose shows notes of apples and pears, a tropical twist and a creamy overtone. The palate is generous but fresh, with a succulent core of white fruit and a refreshing twist of lime. A lovely subtle herbaceousness adds a little extra complexity. Ideal with flaky white fish or creamy chicken dishes.
