Famille Cordier 2024 Case
Wines included
Famille Cordier, Mâcon Aux Bois d'Allier 2024
Described as 'an amazing wine’ in our 2026 Wine Champions blind tastings, characterised by ‘intensity rather than power’ and commended for its ‘mineral quality and lovely length.’ This melony white Burgundy is fermented and matured in very large barrels, allowing flavour development and just a touch of oak influence.
Famille Cordier, Mâcon Milly-Lamartine Clos du Four 2024
Clos du Four is in a cool spot high up in the Mâconnais, and this has a surprising seam of lemony freshness and a firm linear palate. Aged in 350 to -500-litre barrels to avoid masking the mineral style.
Famille Cordier, Mâcon-Fuissé 2024
This high cool site above 400m produces a bright and refreshing wine with a lovely palate mingling apples with a hint of melon. It's fermented and matured in 500-litre barrels to moderate the oak flavour.
Famille Cordier, Mâcon-Loché 2024
Ripe, Mâcon with appealing greengage aromas and soft and creamy texture. Fermented and matured in 20hl and 15hl foudres, this was made from a 1.02ha parcel of vines.
Famille Cordier, Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes 2024
Round and fruity chardonnay yet with good grip and balance made from vines about 60 years old situated mainly in Fuissé, for power, and Vergisson, for freshness. Fermented and matured in 500-litre barrels. Very well priced for the quality.
Famille Cordier, Saint-Véran En Faux 2024
From an excellent vineyard in Chasselas, Burgundy, this has a concentrated, rich flavour balanced by an appley freshness. Fermented and matured in 500 litre barrels for eight months.
