From one of Alto Adige’s most celebrated sites, this old-vine vernatsch (aka schiava) combines depth with finesse. Aromas of wild raspberry and black cherry are complemented by a subtle iron-like savoury note. The palate is full yet elegant, with ripe, finely grained tannins, fresh acidity and impressive balance. Characterful and refined, with the structure to develop well in bottle and a natural affinity with Mediterranean dishes.
