Waris et Filles l'Heritage Brut Champagne NV
This new edition to our range, a small house run two current generations, a father and his two daughters really stood out at a recent tasting. With their own vineyards in the Cote des Blancs, Aube and Sezannais, this brut NV is 60% chardonnay and 40% pinot noir. Elegant lemon and brioche scented, apple and freshly baked bread on the palate that has an lovely light touch, yet long, citrusy finish. A very classy Champagne. Pierre Paillard Les Parcelles XXII Grand Cru Extra Brut NV
Les Parcelles is a blend of 22 plots exclusively sourced in the Montagne de Reims grand cru village of Bouzy and, as such, is a pinot-dominant (70%) blend with chardonnay. The base vintage is 2019, with 30% reserve wines and four years on the lees, leading to a plum-scented and savoury Champagne.
