Introduction to Alsace Whites

Exuberant Alsace gewurz, rightly judged a 2026 Wine Champion. This wine's ‘rose and lychee, lanolin-like complexity’ and sweeter profile make it so gastronomic. Salty cheeses are a hand-in-glove match, but it’s also sublime with a wealth of curries and Chinese sticky ribs.

From one of France's most highly regarded co-operatives, this is a crisp and fresh pinot blanc that expresses itself with lots of citrus and stone-fruit aromas. With a delicate palate and hints of spice this will pair perfectly with white fish and goat's cheese salad, and can be enjoyed simply without food.

From an impressive estate based in Eguisheim, the wines are hugely popular in French restaurants. This white is dry with blossom, stony and white peach notes. There is plenty of freshness to complement seafood, poultry and soft goat's cheese.

This sylvaner and pinot blanc Alsace blend is made by a family estate in the small town of Mittelbergheim. Having grown vines since the 1800s, this family understands their terroir and the 25 hectares that they cultivate. This wine is the perfect introduction to the estate with its bone dry palate and fresh, crisp profile. Expect lots of citrus and white peach with subtle hints of blossom. Perfect to drink without food, but would also pair beautifully with goats cheese or white fish.
