Kiedrich Riesling QbA Trocken, Eva Fricke 2024
This is Eva's village wine from the Upper Rheingau village of Kiedrich. The fruit used to go into Rheingau, however having taken over the vineyards in 2009 and adopted better viticultural practices, the quality has improved dramatically, and it warranted a separate wine. With its sandy loess, loam and clay soils you can expect lots of texture, orange peel and ginger. 2024 vintage is a cooler vintage that brings precision and freshness. Eva's wines always demonstrate a mineral character, which is further evident this year. Drink from 2026 to 2031. 12%
