Kotsifali is an indigenous Cretan variety and this example, from ungrafted old-vines and fermented using indigenous yeasts, is bright ruby in the glass with aromas of wild cherry and strawberry, baking spices and with a grippy, ferrous and saline finish akin to top grenache.
