La Macération du Soula Numéro 19
This is a so-called orange wine from the south of France, made from mostly vermentino grapes that have been allowed to macerate on the skins for over two weeks. The flavour is bone dry, pungent, aromatic with a taste of apple, even cider, and naturally, slightly hazy. Great food wine: think spice, strong flavours and aged cheese.
