Lovely full-flavoured white Rhône from a village that is especially well known for its whites. This is made from the clairette grape and mostly from old vines. Dry and herby with hints of crushed ripe pear.

Château Courac
This fine, large estate is in the village of Laudun, just a handful of kilometres north-west of Lirac, on the right bank of the Rhône.
Josephine and Fréderic Arnaud took over the estate in 1995 and set about making improvements to the vineyards and the winery, farming using environmentally friendly methods on their 90 hectares.
Both Josephine and Arnaud are qualified oenologists and they take great pride in making fruit forward wines of great approachability and personality, in several cuvées, from Côtes-du-Rhône AC to wines using the Laudun cru appellation. Their land also yields a crop of truffles from between the feet of many old oaks.
