London - Chateaux Angludet and Palmer Wine Dinner
Join us for a special evening celebrating two distinguished Margaux estates, Château Angludet and Château Palmer. Hosted by Max Sichel, 7th generation of the Sichel family, we’ll explore the character, history and evolution of these celebrated wines alongside a carefully considered dinner. The wines and menu will be confirmed by 4 September.
Spend an evening in the company of Max Sichel, as we explore two distinctive Margaux estates: Château Angludet and the illustrious Château Palmer. From the elegance and finesse of Angludet to Palmer’s remarkable depth and complexity, this dinner offers the chance to discover how these neighbouring properties express the character of one of Bordeaux’s most celebrated appellations.
Max will share stories and insights from the estates, bringing their history, vineyards and wines to life as you enjoy a specially prepared dinner designed to complement the bottles being poured. The final wine selection and menu will be confirmed by 4 September.
Whether traveling from near or far you will be greeted with a warm welcome and cool drink on arrival before you are led through an evening of food and wine discovery by way of a four-course meal with six matching wines.
Your palates will be teased and challenged and ultimately delighted as each wine pairing is meticulously planned to bring together seasonal produce with delicious wines from our 1,500+ wine list including rare treats from our stores of mature vintages.
Our friendly Tastings team will be on hand to guide you through the wines and dishes, offering fascinating insights into the wines, their producers and their winemaking practices, and chatting through why the food and wine pairings were chosen.

Do you send physical tickets or is it all e-tickets?
We no longer send out physical tickets for our events. An email confirming registration will be sent to the member who has purchased the ticket(s) and this email can be used as confirmation upon arrival at the event.
Can I bring a non-member?
Yes. Tickets must be booked by a member, but you are welcome to bring non-member guests.
Do I need to know lots about wine to attend?
Absolutely not! Our events target a range of experience and knowledge levels, and we try to make this clear on our event pages. If you’re unsure if an event is for you, simply contact tastings@thewinesociety.com and we will try to help.
Do I get a discount on wines after events?
After our ‘in person’ events, we offer attendees a 10% discount on the wines we have shown, subject to availability. You will be provided with a private code after attending the event to redeem the discount
