Online - The Wine Society Celebrates International Pinor Noir
Coinciding with International Pinot Noir Day on August 18th we would love for you to join us as we celebrate this iconic grape variety, delve a little deeper into its origins and look at the wide range of wine styles produced.
To accompany the event, we have created a tasting pack, consisting of 6 different red wines from across the wine world, showcasing all that pinot noir has to offer. The pack is available to order here, with delivery available from Monday 5th August 2024.
From its spiritual home in Burgundy, pinot noir has captured the hearts of many enthusiasts and winemakers alike with its charm, complexity and ability to age. Famously difficult to grow, pinot noir produces its best fruit in cool climates and vineyard sites in places as far apart as New Zealand and the USA, Germany and England.
