Our Fathers ‘There is a Light’ McLaren Vale Shiraz-Grenache 2023

Red Wine from Australia - South Australia
4.138889000 star rating 36 Reviews
Seeing this Australian red’s label revealed as a 2025 Wine Champion after such a commanding performance was a gladdening sight. The project was set up by winemaker Giles Cook MW, with profits donated to mental health charities. Under blind-tasting conditions, it was a surefire Champion, offering full-bodied, punchy generosity with hints of tapenade complementing its black fruit.

Dark blackish crimson. Polished texture with both obvious fruit and leather. Surely wines like this would normally be much more expensive? Very good value. JancisRobinson.com
