In the mouth, a lively frizzante tingles on the tongue and adds a little sherbet dip to the brisk stone fruits across the taste buds. If there was a wine that epitomises a light lunch enjoyed in sunny climes, it's this little Portuguese popper that evokes memories of holidays past. We enjoyed it with a prawn stir-fry.
Bright and herbaceous with a gentle spritz, this is cracking value and versatile with so many summery things.
Crowd-pleasing loureiro grape white, with zesty, white-flower pizzazz.
The best sub-£7 crowd-pleasing white I've tasted so far this year and it's a humdinger.
