Premium Rose Case

Case of 6
0 star rating 0 Reviews
Six of our best foodie pinks. There's mezze-loving Austrian zweigelt, a tomato-taming Corsican, an Alsace pinot that's heavenly with soft cheeses and a Greek so gastronomic it can handle spice, mint and the rest! Finally, no foodie rosé selection would be complete without a Tavel, capable of complementing tacos, curries, roasts and barbecue fare alike.

Rosé de Xinomavro, Thymiopoulos 2024

A wholly individual and totally delicious xinomavro rosé, light salmon in colour, with flavours of dried cranberries, blood orange and wild strawberries with cedar spice. Three months in very large barrels brings creaminess without oak flavour. This ‘do-it-all’ rosé works brilliantly alongside Greek fare like gyros or souvlaki from the grill or barbecue, matching whatever meat you go for (lamb chops with lemon, mint and oregano?) with ease and providing enough substance to deal with tangy, spicy sauces.

Greece £14.95 per bottle

Alsace Pinot Noir Rosé, Joseph Cattin 2025

Just south of Colmar in the town of Voegtlinshoffen, this family estate produces benchmark styles at great value. This pinot noir rosé is bright, fruit forward and displays lots of freshness and energy. It pairs perfectly with summer salads, soft goat's cheese but is enjoyable without food too.

Geyerhof StockWerk Rosé, Kremstal 2025

A delicate pale pink, elegant, stylish, inviting and fresh, with apricot, redcurrant and meadow-flower aromas and subtle mineral lift. Dry, light, refreshing, wonderfully balanced, brightly fruity and effortlessly drinkable. Perfect for warm summer days, this pairs brilliantly with Mediterranean mezze, grilled prawns with lemon and herbs, or a simple tomato and burrata salad. Whether enjoyed on its own or with food, it’s an irresistible rosé that captures the essence of Austrian summer in every sip. Winners of funding from our Climate and Nature Programme and a Wine Society Pioneer for their eco-friendly practises, Geyerhof is a member of biodynamic organisation, Demeter, and the first winery in Austria to achieve Agro-forestry certification, which requires that trees be planted and interact with the vineyards and crops. They are committed to biodiversity and the estate is home to cattle, pigs and chickens. Over 13% of their land is planted with hedges and nature conservation areas, while cover crops are many wild herbs and flowers offering an additional habitat for useful insects while naturally breaking up the soil. There are breeding holes for owls and birds, a small lake has been made for frogs and snakes, and there are 8-hectares of biodiversity areas. Horses are used in the vineyard to avoid soil compaction. They don’t use fertilisers and don't irrigate.

Corse-Calvi Clos Culombu Rosé 2025

Pale, yet deceptively full-flavoured, bone-dry pink from northern Corsica that is very good served with grilled or barbecued white meat or a tuna salad. The Balagne, a fruitful stretch of the north-west coast, known as the Garden of Corsica, is home to one of the island’s oldest, driest and most serious appellations, Vin de Corse-Calvi, where rosé make up most of the production. Etienne Suzzoni at Clos Culombu is one of the real characters among Corsica's winemakers. Larger than life in every way, he has championed the cause of fine wine from Corsica. Pair it with a tomato-based Mediterranean fish stew or charcuterie, both found around this beautiful island.

Domaine Les Mesclances Charmes, IGP Méditerranée Rosé 2025

A delightful Provençal blend of cinsault, grenache and a little of the local tibouren grape. Bone-dry, crisp, clean, almost flinty with hints of cherry and redcurrant, this is delicious and refreshing. It's a joy to drink with a seafood or Niçoise salads or grilled mackerel and sardines this summer..

Tavel is always a deep-pink, full-bodied Rhône rosé, inevitably designed to accompany food. This largely grenache and cinsault blend, with a touch of syrah is a true delight to the senses with plenty of freshness, juiciness and body, cherries, redcurrants, pomegranate and spice. One of the great food rosés, Tavel pairs deliciously with tacos, curry, roasts and almost anything a barbecue can throw at it.
