The Society's Australian Chardonnay 2021
The Society's Australian Chardonnay 2021
The Society's Greek White 2021
The house white of buyer Marcel Orford-Williams, and the 2022 Wine Champions tasting panel were quick to lavish praise on this ‘totally delicious` Society wine, which is a little rounder and richer than in previous vintages. Lovely stone-fruit notes and refreshing acidity.
The Society's Chilean Sauvignon Blanc Limari 2021
The Society's Chilean Sauvignon Blanc Limari 2021
The Society's Falanghina 2021
Falanghina is one of Italy's many native grape varieties that we feel shouldn't be left under the radar! With tangy nectarine and tangerine flavours, this is a concentrated and expressive dry white to pour with fennel salami or a spicy fish stew.
The Society's Côtes-du-Rhône Blanc 2021
A refreshing, flavoursome white from the southern Rhône and made for us by the enterprising Perrin family of Beaucastel fame. This would be good with fish and chips or a pasta carbonara.
The Society's Côtes de Gascogne 2021
Noticeably drier in this vintage, this is fragrant, light, crisp Gascon white with a slight refreshing prickle. There is a hint of citrus on the palate that is more grapefruit than lemon. Light enough to be perfect on its own or with summery salads.
The Society's Ruppertsberg 2021
The co-operative movement has historically been important in Germany and Ruppertsberg is easily one of the best. This full, fruity dry white is made using a majority of silvaner for body and a little riesling for citrusy fruit and grip. A versatile white to be enjoyed with or without food.
The Society's Grüner Veltliner 2021
A textbook grüner from the historic Stadt Krems winery, all succulent pear and white-pepper aromas, nectarine notes on the palate and a refreshing spritz that whets the appetite.
The Society's Vin d'Alsace 2020
An introduction to the wines of this beautiful region of France, rather than being made from a single grape variety, this is a blend of riesling, gewurztraminer, pinot gris, muscat and sylvaner which varies a little by vintage. The 2020 is fresh, delicately aromatic, and dry.
The Society's Chenin Blanc, Stellenbosch 2022
Hot off the boat, our chenin is made for us by the Grier family at Villiera Estate on the border of Paarl and Stellenbosch, from their own sustainably farmed old bush vines - some over 30 years old - which provide a richer component to which an earlier-picked lighter proportion is added to deliver its familiar bright stone-fruit flavour.
The Society's Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine sur Lie 2021
Classic Muscadet from Chéreau-Carré and a tiny vintage producing very pure wine with racy acidity, this is the perfect accompaniment to shellfish and crustaceans.
