Val de Loire Parcelles Pinot Noir, Réthoré Davy 2024
A charming and aromatic Pinot Noir, with great purity of fruit and freshness comes from a tiny but historic vineyard area of the western Loire, delivering floral and fruity flavours of ripe cherries and rose with lovely fresh and elegant finish. What makes this winery a little different is that it is situated in the Mauges area, not far from Muscadet, that has no AOP, which explains his diversity of plantings. He also has a diverse range of soils, and grows his Pinot Noir predominantly on schist soil.
