From a centenarian vineyard comes this field blend led by baga with a host of traditional Dão varieties. It's ethereal and elegant nose of wild raspberry, black cherry, forest floor, lanolin, dried flowers and subtle balsamic note. Spontaneously fermented in old granite lagares with partial stems and aged for three winters in large old casks, it combines pretty floral detail with serious structure. Wild berry fruit, earthy savouriness and a granite firmness carry through the palate, framed by fine tannins and bright, lifted finish. Remarkably elegant, complex and persistent and an outstanding fine wine.
