You might not have tried Hungarian wine yet, but we think that’s going to change! With a whopping 22 wine regions, Hungary is actually the eighth largest producer in Europe, with just over 64,000 hectares of vines (that’s a bigger output than New Zealand!). As for the wine itself, there are plenty of treasures to explore, from the region’s divinely unctuous sweet wine, Tokaji, to the pinot noir-like kadarka, this is a country that’ll tick plenty of boxes for adventurous wine lovers.
