Enjoy free name-the-day delivery*

This service is available to orders of any quantity.

Delivery is free of charge to any one address in the UK for orders of:

  • one or more of The Society's pre-selected mixed cases
  • at least 12 bottles
  • £75 or more in value.


You can of course order as little as you like, but please note that smaller orders will incur a delivery charge of £5. Orders need to be placed by midday Monday to Friday for next-day delivery services. Deliveries can also be made on a Saturday to most UK addresses at no extra charge.

*Please note: unfortunately our next day and name-the-day services are not available for deliveries to Northen Ireland, The Isle of Man, The Isles of Scilly and some areas of Scotland. The full range of delivery options available will be shown during the checkout process when placing an order online or can be discussed when calling Member Services.

If you change your mind about some or all of your order within 14 days of receipt of goods, contact us and we will amend/cancel your order or arrange to collect the unwanted wines (free of charge), and reimburse the appropriate sum paid within 14 days of cancellation, provided it is returned as sold in the original packaging. At this time you cannot amend or cancel an order online. Different terms apply to wines bought in En Primeur offers (please click here for more details).

If we fail to deliver on the specified date offered at the time of order, please let us know; you may cancel the order and The Society will reimburse the full price paid.

We’re sorry if your area isn’t covered by our Wine Society van routes. We do not use our own fleet for all of the UK, but cover the entirety of the country via carrier delivery.

For wines needed in a hurry, The Society's next day delivery service, at no extra charge, covers most UK addresses. Orders need to be placed by midday Monday to Friday for delivery on the next working day. Deliveries on a Saturday are also possible for most UK addresses and are also at no extra charge.

Yes, we do! Free delivery is offered to all UK addresses for orders of 12 or more bottles/halves, of at least £75 or pre-mixed cases. When you place your order on the web or by phone the delivery services applicable to the delivery address will be displayed or advised.

Provided we have your email address we will send a delivery notification email when the order has been picked, packed and has left the warehouse.

This includes gift orders, but rest assured your gift recipient will not receive any notifications from us. You can track the progress of most orders in the My Account area of our website or by calling Member Services on 01438 741177.

Track your orders

We will send you an email notification with details of the consignment number for tracking progress once your order is ready for dispatch. Once your order has been delivered, we will send you another e-mail to confirm.

You can choose to collect your wine in person from our Cellar Showroom at Stevenage. Place your pre-order before noon (Monday to Friday) for next day collection.

The Cellar Showroom also stocks a wide range of wines, accessories and the temperature-controlled Vintage Room offers a selection of fine and rare bottles.

An ever-changing range of bin ends is also available at discounted prices.

We are unable to collect empty Wine Society cartons from members, and currently have no plans to restart doing so. This is because the cartons are not reusable when returned to us. We are, however, continuing to explore the marketplace for sources of suitable reusable cartons.

Our fleet of red vans is currently undergoing an upgrade. They’ll be back on the roads as soon as possible, but in the meantime Society van deliveries are being made by white vans with a temporary livery. Thank you for your understanding.
