The last chance to buy Monte Bello en primeur
For more than 50 years, Wine Society members have had the rare opportunity to secure Ridge Monte Bello en primeur. The 2025 vintage marks the end of that era. From the 2026 vintage onwards, Ridge will release Monte Bello only once it is bottled and ready for sale, making this the last ever en primeur offer of one of California's greatest wines. And the stunning 2025 couldn’t make for a more fitting farewell.

Combining purity, freshness and structure, this is a classically proportioned Monte Bello, the result of a cool, measured growing season and one of the longest harvests in recent years. Winter rains replenished the soils, while the extended ripening period allowed each vineyard block to be picked individually at optimum maturity, preserving vibrant acidity and remarkable precision.
Blended from 75% cabernet sauvignon, 18% merlot and 7% cabernet franc, the 2025 captures everything that has made Monte Bello legendary: intense cassis and dark berry fruit, graphite and cedar, fine mountain tannins and exceptional balance. Built for decades of development, it is a wine that rewards patience and a landmark vintage in the history of Ridge.
