A well-situated premier cru lying adjacent to grand cru Mazis Chambertin. With black fruit aromas, slightly closed at present, this is a broad and generous Gevrey of rich black fruit. Currently quite compact it needs a couple of years to fully bloom and show its full potential. Very promising. Drink from 2028 to 2038. 13.5%

Intense aromas of red and black cherries. Concentrated palate, ripe yet fresh. Sweet tannins lend grip and support the rich fruit. Impressive velvety texture. Needs time to come together but will be delicious. Drink from 2030 to 2040. 13.5%

En Champs is a well-situated village vineyard high up the slope, just below premier cru Champeaux. This has a natural concentration of red and black fruit. The palate is fresh yet rich. Generous, round fruit and with a long finish, this is an excellent village Gevrey. Drink this year to 2036. 13%

Evocelles is adjacent to premier cru Champeaux. It should really be a premier cru but for the fact that part of the vineyard crosses the purely political boundary of Brochon. It is high on the slope, up to 380m in the continuation of the Combe de Lavaux, and the soil is stony. Aromatic black cherry nose. Intensely flavoured wine with an understated but persistent palate. Fine tannins underpin the bright fruit. A wine of great elegance. Drink this year to 2035. 13%

From a vineyard in the northern side of Gevrey, situated in Brochon. Floral, red fruit nose. Elegant. fine-boned palate with sweet, silky tannins. Very pretty. Drink this year to 2036. 13%
