The Society's French Pinot Noir 2022 Bag-in-Box (2.25 litres)

4.111111000 star rating 9 Reviews
Who says the near-mythical pinot noir grape can't thrive away from its ancestral home? We found this delightful and good-value example in the south of France, where the fruit ripens to perfection. It includes fruit from high up in the Aude Valley, where Pyrenean breezes help regulate temperatures, retaining freshness and perfume. Round, soft and attractive with classic cherry-like fruit, this is a delicious, easy-drinking pinot noir to just sit back with and enjoy. As a wonderfully convenient bag-in-box it's ideal for enjoying by the glass whenever you fancy, or when friends and family gather. It will stay fresh for six weeks after opening, and the packaging is 100% recyclable too, which is pleasingly better for the planet. The wine, as a Vin de France, is a blend not tied to any region and so we have taken inspiration from the flavours of the wine, with cherries being prominent, for our attractive new label.

2022 The Society's French Pinot Noir is a gob-smackingly accurate pinot from the Aude, specifically the hills around Limoux.
