Barbaresco Riserva Crus Collector Case, Produttori del Barbaresco 2020
This is a golden opportunity for members to gain insight into the unique terroirs of Barbaresco. This very limited 'collector' mixed case contains one bottle each of Produttori del Barbaresco's nine single vineyards ('crus'): Pora, Paje, Rio Sordo, Muncagota, Ovello, Asili, Montestefano, Montefico, and Rabaja. The 2020 single crus are displaying a beautiful brightness both aromatically and on the palate on tasting in 2025. Taken as a whole, they combine the rich and ripe fruit of warmer vintages with the elegant, 'vertical' personality - as winemaker Aldo Vacca would say - of the cooler ones.

Produttori di Barbaresco
Produttori have 100 hectares owned by 52 families and are exceptionally well managed by Aldo Vacca and his team.
They release the single-vineyard wines only in the best vintage. Barbaresco is closer to the Tanaro River river and the valley floor than the Barolo hills so tends to be hotter and more humid. It also has richer soil, so vines are more vigorous and ripen a week earlier, making wines that are a little more approachable than Barolos when young.
